A valley on the northern side of Amagi Pass, nestled within a dense forest along a tributary of the Kano River. Following the hiking trail along the stream from Ryushi Falls, the majestic Taro Cedar, a designated natural monument, suddenly comes into view.

Shuzenji Temple Okunoin is located in the Yufune village, about 5km west of the hot springs. It is also known as the place where Kobo Daishi underwent training when he was 18 years old.

Located in Izu City, is one of Izu’s most iconic waterfalls and has been selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls. Cool even in summer, this nature-rich spot also offers scenic wasabi fields and local shops to explore.

Lies on the upper reaches of the Jizodogawa River, a tributary of the Kano River. Visitors can walk down close to the basin to feel the mist and powerful sound of the water. With nearby campsites and canyoning experiences, it’s a popular spot for families as well.
