The Numazu Imperial Villa was built for Emperor Taisho's relaxation and has been loved by successive emperors, empresses and members of the Imperial family ever since. It is now a park and a place of relaxation for the citizens. The West Annex is a precious piece of palace architecture, a single-story wooden building with 26 rooms and a total area of 1,270 square meters. You can also tour the inside.

The West Annex is very spacious, but the park is also quite large, so even just walking around it is a good workout. We hope you will take a stroll around the park, enjoying the lush nature and the sound of the waves.

The Numazu History and Folklore Museum is also located within the park and can be visited for free. Valuable materials designated as Important Tangible Folk Cultural Properties of Japan are on display. There are various facilities within the park, including a cafe where you can get light meals, a spot from which you can see Mt. Fuji, and a shop.
