Jogasaki Coast was formed by lava that flowed out when Mt. Omuro erupted about 4,000 years ago. The coastline is rough, and one can sense the mysterious power of the majestic nature. The main spot is the Kadowaki Suspension Bridge. Many tourists visit and cautiously cross the 48m long, 23m high suspension bridge.

From the suspension bridge, you can see the waves crashing against the steep cliffs, which is very impressive. Because it is outdoors, you need to be careful as the wind can be strong, but it is a spot worth seeing. Also, Kadowaki Lighthouse is located nearby, you can enjoy an ocean view with the Izu Seven Islands floating in the air.

There is a 9km hiking trail along the coastline, where you can take a pleasant stroll. It is a popular trail because you can enjoy a variety of flowers depending on the season. There are also some unusual potholes, so be sure to check them out as well.
