The Yukumi Ceremony of the Spring Kobo Memorial is held every year on April 21 in Shuzenji Onsen. Yukumi maidens and a ceremonial procession walk through the hot spring town, offering sacred hot spring water to Kobo Daishi in this traditional spring event.
