On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the city of Mishima will be buzzing from morning to night with two exciting local events: the long-standing Mishima Firefly Festival and the lively Remember Rokutanda. It’s the perfect day to enjoy both the beauty of nature and the charm of a bustling town!

【41st Mishima Firefly Festival】

Time：10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Held rain or shine)
Location：Rakujūen Park, Genbei River, and other areas

One of Mishima’s signature early summer events, the Firefly Festival, returns for its 41st year. On the day of the event,Rakujūen Park will offer free admission,and visitors can enjoy stage performances, food stalls, and a firefly release.After sunset, don't miss the magical sight of fireflies dancing alongGenbei River.

【Remember Rokutanda】

Time：5:00 PM – 8:50 PM (Held in light rain)
Location：Hirokōji Shōei Street (pedestrian-only area)

As evening falls, head to Hirokōji Shōei Street, which will be transformed into a pedestrian zone for Remember Rokutanda. The street will come alive with a wagon sale, stage performances, and the ever-popular Umai Umai Market, offering a variety of takeout food and local flavors.
