The coast adjacent to the scenic spot "Koganezaki" in Nishiizu town stretches about 100 meters and is a great place not only for swimming but also for exploring tide pools. While the shore is covered with large rocks, the seabed gradually mixes with sand as you move into the water, making it a relatively safe and enjoyable spot even for small children.

The northern and southern parts of the coast have different environments, allowing visitors to observe a variety of marine life. Large resident fish can also be spotted, making each visit a new experience. During the summer season, lifeguards are available to provide information on the tide conditions and the best spots to explore for the day.

The surrounding area is part of Koganezaki Park, which features a diving center, a grassy plaza, and an observation deck, making it ideal for leisurely walks. The park is named after Koganezaki, and its cliffs glow a stunning golden color in the light of the setting sun. This breathtaking view captivates visitors throughout the year.
