Nishina Pass 【Amagi Yugashima / Nishiizu】

Nishina Pass, located on the borderline between Amagi Yugashima and Nishiizu Town, is known as a place to enjoy the sunset. The pass is covered with Kumazasa bamboo and has gentle hills. On weekends and during peak seasons, the number of people touring and driving there increases.

You can see the port of Nishiizu in the foreground, and Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji in the background. This is a spot where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Japan's deepest bay and Japan's highest mountain. The view is beautiful not only on sunny days, but also on cloudy days. It can be windy, so we recommend that you bring an extra layer of warm clothing when visiting.
